She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Hicks and Frances Buck Hicks; and her siblings, Sydney Joe Hicks, Charles Ira Hicks and Donna Gail Hicks.
She is survived by: her son Matthew Jackson (Courtney); her grandchildren, Evie Marie and Eden Lee Jackson; and her siblings, Michael Allen Hicks Jonesborough (Lisa) and Peggy Ruth Tinker. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hicks Cemetery.
