He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Bennett and Edith Lilly Bennett; and his siblings, Spencer T. Bennett, Floyd Bennett, Steve Bennett, Tim Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Joann Clay and Judy Hyduk.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Estep Bennett; his sons, Jeff Bennett and Jim Bennett (Angie); his sister Nancy McKinney (Gordon); and his grandchildren, Josh Bennett, Chris Bennett (Courtney) and Jenn Walls (Cory). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
