He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sr. Goines and Carrie Goines (Johnson); his wife Joyce Goines; and his siblings, Claude Jr. (Virginia), Audrey Stephens (Nathaniel), Shirley Fox and Edward "Little Bobby" Goines.
He is survived by: his son Rickie Hall (Jackie); his grandchild Rickie Zahir of Atlanta, Lenita; his sisters, Smith of Johnson City, Micaela "Mic" of North Carolina and Demia Smith of Johnson City; his niece Sandra Stephens; and his cousins, Arliss Goines Mack and Dicie Lock. He is also survived by many nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
