As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nora Oliva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Tolley and Vergia Tolley; her husband Charles Phillips; and her brothers, Lester Tolley and Nelson Tolley.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Tolley, Kathy Large, Erlene Stamey (Steve), Bo Phillips and Teresa Phillips; her brother Ronald Tolley; and her great grandchild Lexie Grace Tolley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Washington County Memory Gardens.
