The passing of Nia Keanna (Johnson City, Tennessee) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 27. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Keith Johnson and Shirley Johnson; her siblings, Vincent Johnson and Imani Johnson; her grandmother Carolyn C. Johnson; her aunts and uncles, Edna Edgerston, Ollie Gibbs, Dianne Cox (Thomas), Alvonzo Peters, James Solomon, Horace Johnson, Jr. (Linda) and Darry Scott (Melissa); her grandparents, Rev. Robert and Patricia Hedgepeth; and her close friend Annalee Brantner. She is also survived by numerous loving cousins and other close relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Birchette Mortuary & Cremation Service, Inc. (219 E Millard St, Johnson City, TN 37601). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Thankful Baptist Church (1501 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Thankful Baptist Church/Nia Johnson Fund to establish an academic scholarship in her honor.
