He was predeceased by: his father Robert Gragg; and his grandparents, Bob, Frances Gragg and Bette Campbell. He is survived by: his mother Melissa Gragg; his stepfather Gerald Brown; his siblings, Bobby Gragg (Arizona), Kimberley Gragg-Pline (Julian) and Kambrey Gragg; his grandfather Charles Ford (Myra); and his pet Tundra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Newland (160 Cranberry St, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Matthew would have preferred donations be made to the Avery County Humane Society, as he generally liked animals more than most people.
