Mary N Greer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary N Greer of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Grindstaff and Lina Grindstaff (White); her siblings, J. D., Orville, Bert, Bernice, Judy Scholl, Nadine Fisher and Anna Ruth Breland; and her great grandchild Grace Vittetoe.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Kenny Greer (Vickie) and Kathy Greear (Randy); her grandchildren, Wes Greer (Mandy), Aaron Greer (Julie), Jessica Sutherland (Thomas) and Kim Vittetoe (Allen); her great grandchildren, Riley Greer, Hadley Greer, Will Greer, Grady Greer, Greear Vittetoe and Grayson Vittetoe; her sisters, Erma Barker and Della Nettles (Floyd); and her siblings-in-law, Eula Grindstaff, Lucy Greer and Ray Scholl. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:45 AM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Keystone Freewill Baptist Church (110 Bettie St, Johnson City, TN 37601). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Monte Vista Memorial Park (1900 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) in memory of Mary Nell.
