He was predeceased by: his parent Russell. He is survived by: his wife Diana Clayton Galyen; his children, Tammy Neal (David), Leanna Williams (Kevin), Joni Bassett (Torrey), Stephen Galyen (Johanna), Jonathan Galyen (Jenni), Rebekah Galyen and Benjamin Galyen; his siblings, Donna Wakefield (Robert) and David Galyen (Paula); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Caleb, Christian, Drew, Nathaniel, Dakota, Sierra, Christopher, Collin, Isaac, Ash, George, Judah, Elijah, Charity, Mercy, Emily, Raven, Danica, Gabriel and Abigail. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the church.In-lieu-of flowers donations can be made to Silent Word Ministries through Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.
