He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert William and Blanche Ruth Tester Furches; his daughter Angela Hale; and his siblings, Thomas Ely, Howard, Wayne, Aaron, David Furches, Crystal Furches Chastain and Naomi Furches.
He is survived by: his wife Luzviminda Francisco Furches; his children, Brian Furches and Cecillia Furches of Bremerton, WA; and his siblings, Johnny Furches, Tim Furches (Marcia) of Pensacola, FL and Judy Furches Smith. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Martindale Baptist Church (2406 Old Lewis Rd, Johnson City, TN 37601). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:50 PM. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
The family requests that in-lieu-of flowers, donations be made in Larry's name to Martindale Baptist Church, 2406 Old Lewis Rd., Johnson City, TN 37601.
