With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Marie Iezzi of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Muncy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 21, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Marie Iezzi to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne Aunkst and Margaret Aunkst (Derr); her husband Anthony Iezzi; and her sister Wanda Jordan. She is survived by : her children, Ryan Iezzi (Maranda Bennett) and Brittany Hughes (James); her grandchildren, Kamoron Hughes, Osiris Payne and Langston Payne; her brothers, Timothy Aunkst (Deb) and John Aunkst Tricia; and her brother-in-law Randall Jordan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:50 AM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Garland Cemetery (1988 Jonesborough Rd, Erwin, TN 37650).
