He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry. He is survived by: his children, Scott Garnett, Douglas Garnett and Janel Trent; his grandchildren, Noah and Mackenzie Trent; and his son Joseph Jr.. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:45 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
