He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry McClain and Della Lambert McClain Daniels; his stepfather Roby G. Daniels, Sr.; his son Jeff T. McClain; and his half-brother Roby G. Daniels, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Christenberry (Jim) of Butler, TN and Tara Sizemore (Ben) of Johnson City, TN; his stepson Alex Williams (Marisa) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Grindstaff of Unicoi, TN, Maya and Paxton Sizemore of Johnson City, TN; and his close friend Linda Arnold.
