She was predeceased by: her parents, Lida Nelle Carver Grimes and Emory Hallet Grimes, Sr.; her son-in-law Ty H. Osman; and her grandson Ty H. Osman, II. She is survived by: her significant other J. Richard Lewis; her daughters, Beth Schreiner (Dale), Nancy Osman and Susan Lewis; and her brother Emory H. Grimes, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
