It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James G. Oliver (Johnson City, Tennessee), who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Guy and Lucy Tester Oliver; his siblings, Edith Casey, Billy Joe Oliver, Robert Lee Oliver and Pansy Louise Dunn; his half-brother Edgar Oliver; and his daughter Angie.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Oliver; his daughters, Cathy Renea Cotton (Tommy Cotton) and Lori Ann Hughes (Richard Hughes); and his siblings, Betty Cade, Judy Ringley, Dorothy Hicks (Gene), Earl Ray Oliver and David John Oliver. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
