He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Fontenot and Amy Fontenot; and his son Kenneth Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Lessie St. Andre; his sons, Darrell Fontenot (Debbie) and Larry Fontenot (Lee); his grandchildren, Zachary Fontenot, Christopher Fontenot, Marcelino Busto, Lauren Hitchcock (Blake), Andrew Profilet, Matthew Fontenot and Jonathan Fontenot; his great grandchildren, Tatiana Fontenot, Leilani Fontenot, Ruby Hitchcock and Charlotte Hitchcock; and his sister Alida Fontenot.
A committal service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery – Historic Section (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
