With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Wallace Walters of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 19, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Wallace Walters to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Darril Walters and Daisy Lee Livingston Walters; and his sister Donna Walters Archer. He is survived by: his children, Darril Walters (Nickie) and Elizabeth Walters Davis (Scott); his siblings, Sharon Walters Bower (Randy) and Denny Walters (Amy); his brother-in-law Larry Archer; his grandchildren, Grace Walters (Tay Johnson), Ellie Walters, Lillie Walters and Holden Davis; and his great grandchild Indie Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Et Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:50 PM. The military honors will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
