He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nile Bowman Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Bowman; his siblings, Stanley Bowman, Christine Thornton (Eddie) and Dorothy Howard (Marvin); and his son Timothy Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Billie June Bowman; his daughter Ramona Leigh; his grandson Gregory Scott Bowman (Jennifer Vincent Bowman); his son Daniel Joseph Bowman; his grandchildren, Brooke Fitchpatrick (Ellison), Henry Grant, Rebecca Grant, Hannah Grant, Daniel Bowman (Hallie) and Grayson Bowman; and his great grandchildren, Cade Fitchpatrick and Cora Bowman.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2343 Knob Creek Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604).
