He was predeceased by: his sisters, Hazel Hall, Mabel and Mildred Douglas; and his brother-in-law Elton Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Willa Dean Street Douglas; his sons, Timothy Douglas, Todd Douglas (Jennifer) and Travis Douglas (April); his siblings, Jerry Douglas (Kathy), Judy Briggs, Connie Payne (Jerry), Tommie Douglas, Peggy Kilby (Rick) and Kay Grindstaff (Bruce); his brother-in-law Gilbert Hall; his grandchildren, Logan Douglas, Jacob Douglas (Cheyenne), Zachary Douglas (Tori), Dustin Douglas, Elijah Douglas, Aiden Douglas, Kayla Shirley (Bradley), Bryson Foulks (Marla) and Kaitlyn Foulks; and his great grandchildren, William Douglas and Everleigh Shirley. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty-four great nieces and nephews; thirteen great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Telford Missionary Baptist Church (1598 Old State Rte 34, Telford, TN 37690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Telford Cemetery. A committal service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
