It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elie Daniels of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Littleton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Daniels and Eartie Daniels; his wife Aleice Parks Daniels; his granddaughter Kristen Taylor Spencer; and his siblings, Loyal Daniels, Lonnie Daniels, Otis Daniels and Samuel Daniels.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Holloway (William), Stanley Daniels (Donna), Bentley Daniels (Pamela), Robin Daniels, Sylvia Taylor (Robert) and Carol Fields (Steve); his grandchildren, David Holloway (Megan), Lorie Nash, Michelle Sluss (Travis), Nicole Wilson (Jess), Ebony Horton (Jeff), Dereth Lewis (Michael), Carlos Daniels (Becca), Triston Daniels, Robbie Taylor (LaDonna), Amber Terry (Roger) and Jessica Oliver (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Parks (Nola Mae), Luther Parks (Janice) and Marvalene Parks. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
