He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeter Gouge and Blanche Hughes Gouge; his wife Betty Gouge; and his son Kevin Gouge. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Gouge (Misty), Kim Minutolo (Joe) and Andy Gouge (Beth); and his grandchildren, Anthony, Jonathan, Matthew, Lauren, Hannah and Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home & Cremation Services (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Monte Vista Memorial Park (1900 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pinecrest Baptist Church, 2129 Old Lewis Rd., Johnson City, TN 37601.
