He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Banks, Sr. and Myrtle Wyatt Banks; his son Kenneth Banks; and his siblings, Roger Lee Banks and Deborah Banks.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Melissa Banks; his grandchildren, Eric, Brittany, Macee, Cody, Ethan and Chaz; his great grandchildren, Durham Oaks Tipton and Karder Shipley; and his cousin Gail Sparks (Rick Benfield).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Freewill Baptist Church (302 Colorado St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
