He is survived by: his cousin Dayton; his friend Roger Forbes; his wife April Montgomery Scalf; his former wife Carolyn Scalf; his siblings, Marty Gillespie and Larry Scalf (Bobbie); his children, Cathy Carver (Daniel), Lynn Scalf (Diane) and Crystal Johnson (Joey); his stepchildren, Angela Turner Shrader (Ben) and Mark Turner; his grandchildren, Kylee, Karlee, Korie, Kaden, Keegan, Aubrey, Allie, Andrea and Khloe; his stepchild Theo; his nieces and nephews, Kristie Hill, Melanie Velte, Stormie Scalf, Rebecca Scalf, Shawn Gillespie and Tyler Scalf; his granddaughter Brianna Carver; and his caregivers, Dr. Ahmed Khan, Dr. Patrick Jones and Dr. L. Allan Colyar. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews.
