He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Preston, Mary Shipley, Paul and Elsie Chapman; his parents, Bill Shipley and Zeta Shipley (Chapman); and his brother Ken Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Scott Shipley (Julie) and Lori Wooten; his grandchildren, Emma, Carter Shipley, Petie and Sophie Wooten; and his siblings, Nat Shipley (Sally), Mary Beal (Dale), Jon Shipley (Carolyn) and Martha Lee (Tommy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many, many, special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude's Research Hospital in memory of David.
