He is survived by: his wife Brenda Johnson Clay; his sons, Cornell Clay and Brian Clay (Tausha) of Johnson City; his brother Ronnie Clay; his friend J. R. Babb; and his sister Betty Ann. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; also several nieces and nephews.
