He is survived by: his wife Carol Jenkins Maupin; his children, Margaret Townson (Chris), Charles Maupin III (Crystal), Amanda Moore (Chris) and Ernest Maupin; his grandchildren, Emma Townson, Julie Maupin, Charles D Maupin, Logan Townson, Caden Townson and Lacy Moore; his mother Barbara Maupin; and his siblings, Nancy Gardner (Robert), Jimmy Maupin (late Beverly), Timmy Maupin (Leanne), Letha Jones (Jeff), Karen Williams (Shona), Kevin Maupin (Tina) and Scotty Maupin (Melissa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
