She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ellison and Stella Ellison; and her siblings, Lonnie Ellison, Mack Ellison, Carnie Ellison, James Ellison, Jack Ellison, Betty Hare and Sue Ellison.
She is survived by: her husband Albert "Buddy" Parrish; her children, Julie Buchanan (Sam) and James Parrish (Tami); her grandchildren, Zachary Parrish (Danielle), Emily Parrish (Kurt Brooks), Hunter Buchanan (Mandi) and Sadie Ramsey (Jarrett); her great grandchildren, Lucas Parrish, Layla Parrish and Callen Ramsey; and her sisters, Verna Livesay and Norma Parrish. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Lyons Cemetery (1259 Dry Creek Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
