With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Joe Baker of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker and Mattie Baker. He is survived by: his wife Linnis Oliver Baker; his daughters, Keyla Campbell (Jeremy) and Tamara Baker Reed; his grandchildren, Kylie Jones (Patrick), Keaton Wahlbon (Olivia), Rylan Campbell, Madison Finch (Issac Kiser) and Bailey Byrns; his great grandchildren, Urijah Jones, Leena Wahlbon, Hudson Kiser and Lincoln Byrns; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Oliver, Harold Stevens and Sara Marie Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He had arranged for his body to be donated to the Quillen College of Medicine at ETSU.
