It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Short (Joelton, Tennessee), who passed away on March 27, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Short; and her daughter Helen Cantrell. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Short (Marie) and Brenda Teasley. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Friday, March 30th from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. A Graveside Service will take place at Forest Grove Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Forest Grove UMC Cemetery Fund.
