He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Jr. Myers and Iris Carney Myers; and his nephew Little Dallas Myers. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie S. Perry Myers; his son Rob Myers (Elizabeth); his siblings, Dwain Myers (Linda), Ginny Kilgore (Kelly) and Patsy Bender; his sisters-in-law, Louetta Harris (Garvis), Robbie Perry (Kenneth), Marilyn Perry and Patricia Hester; his grandchildren, Laken, Kate and Jill; and his close friend Ruby Groves. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
