He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jr. Mason and Angela C. Goodrich Mason; his stepfather Charles Bernhardt; his sister Regina Mason; and his parents-in-law, Sam "Raymond" and Flora Mae Groves.
He is survived by: his sons, Jake, Vette and Nick; his wife Brenda Joyce Groves Mason; his sister Allison Gafford (David); his children, Bry and Rebecca Roberson; his grandsons, Nicholas Roberson (Ashley) and Jacob Roberson; his great grandchildren, Ryland Roberson and Hudson Roberson; and his son Troy Mason (Heather). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
