She was predeceased by: her husband B. F. Newman; and her siblings, John Willis "Bear" Hensley, Barbie Sterry and Liddie Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Krantz (Keith), Gail Binkley (Buddy) and Teresa Carpenter; and her grandchildren, Donnie Collier, Dee Ellis, Amy Collier, April Netherton and Alex Carpenter. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
