He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Minton and Dyretha Minton; and his wife Shirley Ann Minton. He is survived by: his children, Mike Minton, Kathy Cox (Michael), Cheryl Merritt and Steve Minton (Debbie); and his siblings, Jean Lyell and James Minton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchild.
