He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy O'Donnell and Larry Scalf; and his children, Rose Miller, Debra Johnson (Chuck), Charles Scalf, Jr. (Carla) and Vincent Scalf. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
