He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Batts and Vera Evans Batts; his wife Linda Batts; and his brother Ronnie Batts. He is survived by: his daughter Mandy Wylie (John); his siblings, Roy Wendell Batts (Linda), Myra Evans and Bonnie Ward; and his grandson Logan Wylie. He is also survived by nine loving nieces and nephews.
