She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Simpson and Viva Stacy Simpson (Silcox); her daughter Anna Rigney; her granddaughters, Michella Marlow, Wendy Perkins, Christy Medford and Brittany Foust; her great grandchildren, Brentley and Jayden Caddell; and her siblings, Esco Simpson, Elbert Simpson, Vaughenette Daugherty and Joyce Claxton.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa Cross (Olen) of Chickamauga, GA, Jeanetta Hurst (John) of Williamsburg, KY, Angie Muse (Mike) of Newcomb, Melinda Satterfield (Jesse) of Williamsburg, KY, Lois (Robert Wright) of Georgia and Jeff (Darnell Hensley); her siblings, Roger Simpson (Linda) of Kentucky, Harold Dean Simpson (Paula) of LaFollette, Wilma Sue Elliott of LaFollette and Pearlie Fay Marlow of Lafollette; and her niece Tiffany (Eric Rawlings). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
