Virginia Anne Cate Godwin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Anne Cate Godwin of Jefferson City, Tennessee, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Godwin; her parents, Charles T. Cate, Sr. and Elizabeth Bettis Cate; her siblings, Charles T. Cate, Jr. (Buddy) and Dorothy C. Taylor; and her cousin Glenda Blackburn.
She is survived by: her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Judy Godwin; her granddaughter Kasey Godwin; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Godwin Spivey and Dorothy Roberts; and her cousin Barbara Blackburn Quarles. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
