He is survived by: his children, Tommy Shipley, Kathy "Bug" Ball, Michelle Shipley and Lee Humbard; his stepdaughter Theresa Ray (Glenn); and his brother Charles "Sam" Shipley (Kay). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
