He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jack and Lois Strange of Newport; his siblings, Jetta Lee Ely, Martha Webb, E. C. and Dexter Strange; and his parents-in-law, Rev. Lofton and Ardell Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Strange; his son-in-law Wayne Elkins; and his sister Polly Shropshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
