We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, Patsy J. Shands of Jefferson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Shands; her parents, Marshall Hinchey and Alma Hinchey; her brothers, Al Hinchey and Max Hinchey; and her stepson Mike Shands.

She is survived by: her daughter Renee Penley (Ray); her sister Kathleen Lockhart; her stepson Jim Shands (Florence); her brother Sam Hinchey (Yvonne); and her close friends, Wanda Satterfield, Betty Daniel and Jane Humbard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Flat Gap Baptist Church.
