He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billy" and Maybelle Clayton; his sisters, Bleka Lingerfelt (Bill) and Trula Beals (Don); his daughter-in-law Donna Clayton; his brother Howard Clayton (Anna); and his father-in-law Bruce Hobby.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Clayton; his children, Scott Clayton (Lora), Sharon Rosenbaum (James), Greg Clayton (Windy), Tara Clayton (Billy Ray) and Tyler Comer; his mothers-in-law, Natomia Hobby and Joyce Hobby; his grandchildren, Jeremy Oglesby, Christopher Clayton (Brittany), Katelyn Greer (Nathaniel), Alyssa Clayton, Justin Clem, Evan Patterson and Chloe Patterson; his great grandchildren, Emmett Clayton and Everett Clayton; and his pet Bentley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
