She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Fowler and Lucille Fowler; her sister Bernice Purkey; and her former husband J. D. Hatmaker. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Hatmaker, David Hatmaker (Kathy), Mark Hatmaker (Mitzi) and Gary Hatmaker (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Joel, Colin, Carrie and Nikki; her great grandchildren, Dot and Amelia; her significant other Arvin McCarter; and her pet Winston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; scores of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society.
