She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Harmon Shannon and Gladys Elizabeth Shannon. She is survived by: her husband Joe Brown; her sons, Jason Brown, Derek Brown (Macey) and Jeremy Brown; her brother Jesse Lee Shannon; and her half-sisters, Connie McCourt and Cynthia Cline.
