She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gass (Cotton) of Jefferson City and Margaret Gass of Jefferson City; her sister Patricia; and her brother-in-law Robert Alan Foster. She is survived by: her husband James W.; her daughter Sharee Long of Shannon Hefner; her grandchildren, Connor Long, Jansen Long and Macey Hefner; and her siblings, Brenda Collins (Donnie) of Jefferson City, Teresa Tipton (Michael) of Jefferson City and Steve Gass (Cherry) of Dandridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
