He was predeceased by: his father William "Dub" Hodges; and his nephew Craig Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Faye Hodges; his mother Katy Skeen Hodges; his brother Timothy Hodges; his daughter Nicole Hodges Wyrick (Taylor); his uncle Doug Skeen; his stepchildren, Lisa Williams, Keith Phillips and Gina Lundy (Greg); and his friend Tommy Collins. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
