She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifford and Dorothy Shields; and her son James "Andre" Batts. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Stewart (Ronardo); her grandchildren, Jordan Pierce (Cody) and Kianna Batts; her great grandchildren, Cambryn, Grayson, Jadann, Ryder, Isaac Andre and Cohen; her sister Sheila Treece; her nephew Christopher Treece; her great-niece Zander; her great-nephew Pyper; and her close friends, Janie Richmond and Claudia Smith.
