He is survived by: his wife Lura Burchfiel Hinchey; his children, James R. Hinchey, Jr. of Florida and Sharon Knechtel; his son-in-law Kent Knechtel; and his grandsons, Colin Knechtel (MikaVogt) and Clifford Knechtel of Washington State.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farrar Funeral Home - Jefferson City (411 W Broadway Blvd, Jefferson City, TN 37760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Westview Cemetery (250 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy, Jefferson City, TN 37760).
