With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dewey Taylor of Jefferson City, Tennessee, born in Iaeger, West Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2021 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Taylor and Mary Taylor; and his sisters, Karen Ann Taylor and Betty Jo Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pruett Taylor; his siblings, Norma Taylor of Delbarton, WV, Sue Hurley (Richard) of Delbarton, WV, Barbara Fields (Thomas) of Delbarton, WV, Marretta Taylor of Williamson, WV, Matthew Taylor (Edwina) of Athens, AL and Mark Taylor of Knoxville, TN; his mother-in-law Maggie Pruett of Raysal, WV; and his brother-in-law Don Pruett (Ann) of Bland, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
