It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dearing of Jefferson City, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Dearing and Josie Dearing; his siblings, Kathleen Ziegler, Clifford and Glen Dearing; and his grandsons, Jeremy Brooks and Travis Vineyard.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Moore Dearing; his children, Rita Dearing, Carol Brooks Jenkins, James Dearing (Tami) and John Dearing (Mikitia); his grandchildren, Jason Brooks (Jenny), Clint, Chad Dearing, Tiffany, Tia Dearing, Crystal Day, Amber Turley (Dustin), Katy Whitt (Winston) and Mandy Dearing; his stepgrandson Josh Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Wade Brooks (Summer), Haley Brooks, Cameron Brooks, Dru Hurst, Ashlyn Vineyard, Abbi Brooks, Abi, William Turley, Sadie Whitt, Jordan and Carson; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ava Fye; his great great grandchildren, Winter Faith and Autumn Marie Brooks; and his brother E. C. Dearing (Pearl). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
