She was predeceased by: her husband C. Lamar Orr; her son William A. Orr; her parents, J. W. Ellis and Margaret Ellis; and her brother Dr. John W. Ellis Jr..
She is survived by: her son John Ellis Orr (Vickie); her sister-in-law Carolyn Ellis; her grandchildren, Chris Orr (Susan), Carol Anne Scarlett (Tommy), Chad Orr (Amy) and Matthew Orr (Haley); and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Luke, Trevor, Charlise, Savanah, Laurel, Kaylyn, Carson and Molly Anne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City (1610 Russell Ave, Jefferson City, TN 37760). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations in Dot's honor for the Agape Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Jefferson City.
