He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Watson and Sadie Watson; his brother Curtis Watson; and his parents-in-law, Eugene and Jean Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith Watson; his children, Kris Newvine (Scott) and Chris Hickle (Miranda); his grandchildren, Matthew Newvine, Ava, Ellie and Jake Hickle; his siblings, Rena Manis (Joe) and David Watson; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa and Wesley Giles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
